Hello, Just so you know, the Melanie Layton articles was deleted because it does not meet wikipedia's standards of notable characters. She has only been on for a short time. Characters must be on years to make the notable, and worthy of an article on here. Please see WP:NOTE if you have any questions regarding this policy. Thank you. Notability
Feel free to make the change to As the World Turns as you see fit. Personally, I am unfamiliar with the show, or how long the characters have been on. But as an editor, you have the right to change it. Hope this helps. Have a nice day. Rm994 (talk) 21:15, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Please see Misplaced Pages: Talk page guidelines regarding your recent edit to my talk page. I have no personal greivance against you, I am just trying to adhere to the guidelines set forth on this site. Please do not blank my page again. Thank you. Rm994 (talk) 15:34, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
I am reporting you to an administator for repeated vandalism to my page. Repeated occurences may result in your being blocked from editing. Rm994 (talk) 19:48, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Block warning
If you vandalize a userpage one more time, as you did with Rm994's talk, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. bishzilla ROARR!! 22:07, 23 September 2008 (UTC).
- In answer to your question on Bishzilla's talk page, she is one of Misplaced Pages's administrators. I am as well. Please do not vandalise or make inappropriate edits to the user pages of other editors, or you will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Risker (talk) 16:19, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
I have every right to warn users when they are breaking Misplaced Pages's guidelines. I am sorry if you don't agree but Melanie Layton does NOT deserve a page per WP:NOTE. You may also familiarize yourself with WP:VANDALISM before you accuse others of vandalism. Again, I have no personal grievance against you, have not vandalized your page, and have simply tried to explain the rules to you. Please do not leave inappropriate uncivil messages on my talk page. Thank you. Rm994 (talk) 16:55, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Can we please stop tossing the word "vandal" around? From where I sit, there seems to be a big miscommunication. Can we please try to assume good faith, and adopt an attitude of teaching, instead of accusing? See also WP:BITE. Thanks, --Elonka 18:15, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- No miscommunication. Blanking other editor's page or replacing content with "oops" is vandalism. Can we please adopt less priggish and self-important attitude, Elonka? bishzilla ROARR!! 20:26, 24 September 2008 (UTC).

Advice
Hi Phenomenon8980, and thanks for your work on various soap articles. I see that there's an ongoing conflict, so I wanted to offer some advice. I especially understand that it may seem very bizarre that when someone else blanks your article, they see that as okay, but when you blank someone's talkpage, you're getting warned for vandalism, so let me see if I can help a bit. First though, it's very important that:
- You stay as calm and civil as possible. As soon as you resort to anger or rudeness, it just reinforces people's first impressions that you may be a vandal (and Misplaced Pages is a vandal magnet). See WP:CIVIL.
- Focus just on articles, rather than other editors. Show that you're genuinely here to help by adding good content.
- Use good sources. Misplaced Pages can only include information that's already been published elsewhere. So before adding something, check that you have a published source for it, and be sure to cite that source in the article.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions, --Elonka 18:13, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
