Falling asleep in a wheelie bin

There was a headline on the Sunday Sport (I think) yesterday, with 'Gazza falls asleep in Wheelie bin'. Does anyone hae a link or conformation on this, as I cant find it on their website?

Photo

I think this article deserves a photo. I would put one up but wouldn't know where to start. Can anyone help us out? Alec McEnemin 20:44, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

I agree. One with him wearing fake tits would suit best I believe.

Can sombody find a better picture? The one that's up at the moment isn't exactly flattering 138.37.250.195 (talk) 19:34, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Here is a good photo http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/gusintheuk2/paul-gascoigne-192_667988e.jpg

It just needs someone who is auto-confirmed to upload it.

OCD

Does he have OCD? The OCD article claims he does. If he does it is odd that it is not mentioned in the article. Robert Brockway 07:27, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

he does. Philc TC 12:18, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Dubious Information

Caps and goal figures in the article likely contain European cup/Domestic cup data in addition to Domestic League data (this is very certain based on this user's previous edits containing similar information . Please correct this issue and leave a note here, http://en.wikipedia.org/User_talk:Alfmaster#Footballers.27_European_goals, to warn this person about putting improper information on Misplaced Pages. --Palffy 21:17, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Ok, info on Gascoigne now looks legit to me. --Palffy 01:45, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Discontinuous?

He was discontinuous? What does that mean? Must be British English, it doesn't make any sense to me. --Awiseman 14:59, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Its widely rumoured (and I stress rumoured)around the North East that Gascoigne's "reckless tackle" was a put on, to cover up a knee injury recieved from now deceased(assassinated) North East gangster Viv Graham, if Paul had pressed charges against Viv its highly likely he'd have been found floating in the River Tyne.

Alcoholism and wifebeating

This is controversial, yet unsourced. I'm removing the wifebeating part per WP:BLP until someone sources it.-h i s r e s e a r c h 18:53, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

For more see: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article447507.ece - extract from his book, if that counts. See 'October 1996' DanGravell (talk) 13:02, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

French surname?

It sounds more French than English. Any thoughts?--h i s r e s e a r c h 20:16, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

I blame William the Conqueror.

Louis XIV more likely. Probably a descendant of Huguenots (at a pure guess).130.225.25.18 (talk) 09:34, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Mental health issues

Do we really need to state the exact dates of his entering and leaving hospitals for mental health problems? It seems unnecessarily detailed to me, and frankly a bit invasive of his privacy (and is, in any case, unreferenced). It would probably be sufficient to say 'since 2008, he has been sectioned several times under the Mental Health Act'. We have a useful essay that applies here: WP:BASICHUMANDIGNITY.
