Template:Infobox Internet celebrity Smosh is a duo of Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox, from Carmichael, California, known for the writing, filming, acting, and editing of skits and music videos. As of September 25, 2008, they have over 535,000 subscribers on YouTube, making them the third most subscribed channel on YouTube . (with nigahiga being the most subscribed and with fred as number 2 ) and the first YouTube channel to have more than 500,000 subscribers.

The "Pokémon Theme" video (removed to comply with a copyright DMCA notice from Shogakukan) received almost 25,000,000 views before its removal.

Their "Smosh Short 2: Stranded" video won the 2006 YouTube Award for Best Comedy.

As of October 3, 2008, the duo has released a total of 57 videos, along with 15 extras showcasing bloopers during filming, all of which can be viewed on their website.
