Sidironero (Σιδηρόνερο) is a community in northern Drama Prefecture, Greece. It lies in the Chech region in the Rhodope Mountains along the Bulgarian border in the northern part of the prefecture between the two largest municipalities in Greece, Kato Nevrokopi and Paranesti. Its population was 430 inhabitants at the 2001 census. With a land area of 351.273 km² (135.627 sq mi) it is the largest community (koinótita, Greek κοινότητα) in Greece. It is also the second-least densely populated municipality or community (after Gramos). Villages within the community are Sidirónero (the administrative center, pop. 206), Skalotí (84), Kallíkarpon (50), Pappádes (50), and Oropédio (40).
