The Man with the Golden Gun is a James Bond novel by Ian Fleming. The manuscript was discovered after his death, and edited by Kingsley Amis before publication.

The title character is Francisco Scaramanga, a high-priced assassin and adversary of Bond.

The Man with the Golden Gun is also the 9th James Bond film, released in 1974, with a plot very loosely based on the book. The movie stars Roger Moore as James Bond, Christopher Lee as Francisco Scaramanga, Britt Ekland and Maud Adams.

The theme tune, The Man With The Golden Gun, was performed by Lulu.
