Pre Deletion Trama

Not bad at all! I made a few grammar and formating edits, I also added a few wikilinks, and tried to limit redundancy. All my changes are here on this diff. You can use the page history to see my edit summaries, which I tried to make concise and detailed. If anything I've done doesn't seem right or you don't understand please drop me a note, and I'll try to explain better. Happy editing. KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 16:22, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Good edits, thanks! I fixed a few formatting issues, but I think the content is useable now, as is. Not sure about getting something like this in mainspace, but I can't help but think that this would be useful. I probably have it on the wrong type of page (talk, oops) to begin with anyway. going to remove the temp/intro page now. I asked two others, no feedback from them (wasn't expecting much). Thanks for taking the time! Pharmboy (talk) 17:58, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay; I've added some minor changes and copy editing. One observation - the 'prod' process was not touched upon. Should there be a section related to that? Kuru 04:05, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Good idea, if you have an idea on that, please pitch in and make the change. I may have started the essay, but the goal is to not 'own' it, and perhaps find a place in mainspace that it may be useful (my personal goal). I started a rough section for it, needs some attention by persons with more better grammar ;) Pharmboy (talk) 14:24, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

The Original Barnstar
I award you this Barnstar for the amazing work you did creating something from almost nothing. Better than having pulled a rabbit out of your hat! Nice job. Schmidt, 07:48, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Brain (as food)

Hi. I think you were right to undo the change an IP made yesterday, but when you revert a change that is clearly well-intentioned, I wish you would use something more than the default non-explanatory edit message. Regards, Looie496 (talk) 16:10, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

  • I usually do, and always if it is a user name rather than an IP (or it is obvious vandalism). I was in a bit of a hurry. Probably good advice for IP as well, however. PHARMBOY (TALK) 23:30, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Enjoying your input - thank you

Hey, I just wanted to say that I am enjoying your input in Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of Italian supercentenarians. It is always delightful to come across intelligent and spirited conversation. Thanks for making this a fun discussion! Ecoleetage (talk) 13:42, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the kind words. It is rare to find someone who appreciates a persons debating style, when they are on the opposite side of an issue. As long as we are on the same side of the bigger goal, making wikipedia better, then good spririted debate is a very good thing. PHARMBOY (TALK) 18:06, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, if we all agreed on everything, this would be a boring site. Ecoleetage (talk) 11:06, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Hatnote AfD

Thanks for the help, I would have reverted if I were an independent editor myself, but it seemed a little rude for me to do it as the nominator - thanks again. neuro 20:23, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

  • no problem. In my opinion, you would have had the clear authority because 1. it is a clear policy, and 2. to protect the integrity of the process you initiated. This isn't making a "change" or not allowing improvements, this is making sure everyone has the right to view and input in the conversation. PHARMBOY (TALK) 20:30, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Aboutown Transportation

As the creator of this article, I agree that the company is probably only worth a paragraph of notability. I am going to have it deleted and will include some of the information in a future more extensive article covering bus transportation in the province of Ontario. Thank you for reviewing this article in a kinder gentler manner. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 18:05, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Oh you're welcome. They might BE notable, I just tagged because it wasn't obvious. You idea is probably a good one, as transportation within Ontario is certainly a notable topic to work up in your user space and move over. PHARMBOY (TALK) 18:55, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Ed Jasper

what exactly in the Ed Jasper article has to be referenced.--Yankees10 23:23, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

  • All articles on Misplaced Pages must be about topics that are notable and verifiable using reliable sources. He passes notability, but how would anyone know that he isn't just a made up name? Why not say Billy Joe Nosepicker was the quarterback? How would anyone know if we didn't require sources? All articles have to have sources (or be tagged for it, or deleted). Yes, plenty don't, which is what I am doing, fixing and tagging articles. The reference I had already added was plenty to verify that he was who the article said he was, and the source of the article is a reliable source, however, you decided to delete it.
