Spam in Eversley Storage Services

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Eversley Storage Services, by another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Eversley Storage Services is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Eversley Storage Services, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. {{helpme}}

Thanks Gtstricky. Actually I dont have the rights to make the article publically available, though I do have a copy I can email or upload somewhere. Is that possible please?

Not at this time. If you put it in your sandbox below it is not rally an article yet. Gtstricky 13:55, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

{{helpme}}

Thanks for getting back to me.

I am aggrieved my article was removed as I wrote it as an article not as an advert. If you look at http://en.wikipedia.org/Manhattan_Mini_Storage, it is written in a very similar vein to my article in that it doenst sell any services. The article is supportive of the Self Storage Association of the UK and is intersting from an engineering perspective because of the discussion of the tailor made engineering solutions; and is of interest to other people interested in the storage industry as well as those interested in engineering and design relevant to the storage industry. This was why I chose to put it in the 'Storage' section of the 'Companies by Industry' page - it is surely relevant and useful content for this section , it's not just me that thinks this -the UK Self Storage Associations' Focus Magazine featured a similar article in Autumn 2005.

If you give me you're interested to read the article, if you let me have your e-mail address I'll send you the PDF.

Put the article here: User:Storage Geek/sandbox and I will take a look. Gtstricky 19:23, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

You asked the same question at the help desk here. I'll copy and paste my response from there:
See Misplaced Pages:Why was my page deleted?. That article was deleted per WP:CSD#G11. Here's its entry in the deletion log. Zain Ebrahim (talk) 09:00, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello Storage Geek,
If your communication is only between you and Gtstricky, it would be best if you leave them a note on their talk page -- User talk:Gtstricky -- rather than open more and more helpme requests.
