I'm a pretty intermittent editor on Misplaced Pages, as I have trouble fitting in all the things I'm already committed to in real life.
I've done quite a few edits on the Landmark Education page. Actually I don't enjoy that nearly as much as the work I do on other subjects but I find it hard to stand by while Point-of-View pushers try to turn it into a soapbox.
Since there have been a lot of wild accusations thrown about lately at anyone who has tried to balance the torrent of negative material being inserted into that article, I'll make my own viewpoint explicit:
I'm a customer of Landmark Education, and a (broadly) satisfied one. I've done several of their courses and training programs and found them excellent value for money and they've produced great results for me. I'm not, and never have been, employed by Landmark Education, and don't intend to be. I've made lots of good friends there, and met a number of people I find irritating. The organisation has its foibles, but they occur to me as minor distractions rather than anything alarming. I'm not currently doing any of their courses and have no immediate plans to do so. In editing the article, I have no agenda other than that it be fair, honest, informative and in accordance with Misplaced Pages policies.
Oh, and while I'm about it, this is the one and only user name I've ever had - I'm not anyone's sock puppet nor am I any puppet's master. And the edits I do are on my own initiative.
