Smosh is a duo of Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox, from Carmichael, California, known for the writing, filming, acting, and editing of skits and music videos. As of October 5, 2008, they have over 550,000 subscribers on YouTube, making them the third most subscribed channel on YouTube (with Fredbeing the most subscribed and with nigahigaas number 2).

The "Pokémon Theme" video is Smosh's most popular video, (removed to comply with a copyright DMCA notice from Shogakukan) and it received almost 25,000,000 views before its removal.

Their "Smosh Short 2: Stranded" video won the 2006 YouTube Award for Best Comedy.

As of November 5, 2008, the duo has released a total of 60 videos, along with 15 extras that can be viewed, with a Smosh.com account, all on their website.
