Nicole Kriz (born December 13, 1983, in Bankstown, New South Wales) is an Australian professional tennis player. Her career high WTA singles ranking is 332, which she reached on August 4, 2008. Her career high doubles ranking is 104, set at July 9, 2007
Early life
Kriz was born on December 13 1983, in Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia, to Mike and Seija Kriz. She was educated at the Presbyterian Ladies' College, Sydney, in Croydon, leaving at the end of Year 10, in 1999, to focus on her tennis career.
Kriz recently won the US $25,000, Australian Challenger event in Berri, beating top 100 player Marina Erakovic in the final. She also defeated the #2 seed Monique Adamczak in the Semi Final. Both wins were by 3rd set tiebreakers.
