Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock. If you are autoblocked repeatedly, contact your Internet service provider or network administrator and request it contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on its proxy servers so that blocks will affect only the intended user. In response to vandalism from this IP address, abuse reports may be sent to its network administrator for investigation.
Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

OK, I'll stop reverting for 15 minutes

OK, I'll stop reverting for 15 minutes, maybe up to an hour or more if I get distracted, but then I'll restore the November and December warnings. Archive pages are typically used for registered-user talk pages and typically for items that are "old." IP addresses by their very nature do not "belong" to anyone, your ISP may reassign this IP address at any time. I've requested semi-protection of this page to keep you from editing it, but I just canceled that request on the assumption you are in fact trying to do something useful. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 23:06, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

{{helpme}} How can I make this person go away I want nothing to do with him.

He's only trying to help, and enforce one of our rules. It's a simple matter. You can always ask him nicely to stop sending you messages. Stwalkerster 23:11, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
I informed the other editor who reverted you that I'm holding off for 15 minutes. He may or may not do the same. If you want a customized user-talk page, consider registering. If you can't register the normal way due to the troubles affecting certain United Kingdom ISPs, you may request an account here. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 23:15, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

{{Helpme}} Where is this rule written?

This is a USER TALK page not a USER page

Talk pages are specifically for communicating between users. Having other people leave messages on them is what they are for. You probably want a user page. You will need to create an account and log in then create your user page. For example, if you created an account under the name NewUser, your User page would be http://en.wikipedia.org/User:NewUser and your User Talk page would be http://en.wikipedia.org/User_talk:NewUser. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 23:15, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

User infoThis is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
