Rod Machado is a pilot, flight instructor, and author. He is ATP rated , and a member of the Aviation Speakers Bureau. His books include Rod Machado's Private Pilot Handbook (ISBN 978-0963122995) (2nd edition released 2008), Rod Machado's Instrument Pilot's Survival Manual (ISBN 978-0971201507) (2003), and various others. His private pilot handbook is available on audiobook and MP3 as well as several others on CD and video which were never books.
Ratings and Certificates
Rod has acquired all the ratings up to ATP. This would be the private pilot certificate, instrument rating, and commercial pilot Certificate. He also has various type ratings. These are ratings to fly specific planes over a weight limit designated by the FAA. He was born on 1953.
