Apollo Reservation System is a computer reservations system developed by United Airlines in 1976. It was bought by Galileo International Inc in 1997. Although Apollo is a fairly primitive system by modern standards, it still remains to be one of the most widely used reservation systems in the travel industry.
The Apollo reservation system is said to be the predecessor of Galileo CRS. Currently, the Galileo is being owned by Travelport(Galileo by Travelport) with its helpdesk based in New Delhi(INDIA) along with the support desk based in ATLANTA.
