Trivium is an American heavy metal band formed in 2000, and their discography consists of four studio albums, one extended play, three singles, and ten music videos. Three years later, they signed with German label Lifeforce Records, and released their full-length debut, Ember to Inferno in October 2003, with a lineup that included vocalist and guitarist Matt Heafy, bassist Brent Young, and drummer Travis Smith.
Trivium then, signed with Roadrunner Records for their next release. Before they recorded their second album, Young was replaced by bassist Paolo Gregoletto, and Corey Beaulieu joined as the band's second guitarist. The follow-up Ascendancy appeared in March 2005, peaking at number four on the Top Heatseekers chart. In 2006, they released their third studio album, The Crusade, which peaked at number seven on UK Albums Chart. Trivium lastest release, Shogun, appeared in September 2008, peaking at number twenty-three on the Billboard 200 chart.
