Mitchum is a brand of deodorant, launched in 1970 by Revlon. It is widely known for its marketing slogan, "So effective you can skip a day". It is an efficient anti-perspirant product containing the maximum concentration of active ingredient Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY (20%) currently allowed.
The gel version of their product used to contain 20% of the anti-perspirant Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly. The formula has since been changed to Aluminum Sesquichlorohydrate, and the slogan "So effective you could skip a day" has been dropped.
Availability
It is available as a roll-on, spray, stick and powder. Its efficiency comes from the inclusion of an anti-bacterial.
2007 saw the launch of the Smart Solid stick with a patented water-based formula.
Mitchum now comes in various scents and currently contains 25% Aluminum Sesquichlorohydrate.
