The word trustee is also a legal term defined in The Trustee Act 2000 used to refer to a body that is entrusted with the administration of property on behalf of another. The Trustee Delegation Act 1999 specifically covers matters to do with land. Other legislation that covers this area includes the Trustee Act 1925 and Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996
