Statement by Eddie Segoura (talk)
I am writing to request that the case leading to Me being banned be reviewed. If the ban is because I tried to repost an article on a neoligism, I've long given up on trying to repost that here and on Wiktionary. If it's because I harassed a member, I've written apology letters them personally. Some have responded and some have not. If I am allowed to return, I will edit constricvely and under this name. I would generally update sport stats and results of Yankees games that I watch. I am truly sorry if I caused anyone personal harm back in 2006 and I hope to put those incidents in the rearview mirror. It's a New Year and I would like to have all things forgiven. Eddie Segoura (talk) 10:51, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
If I am allowed to edit Misplaced Pages again, I would likely work on pages related to the New York Yankees, keeping the stats of players updated as I watch each game and add info releated to what happens in the 2009 New York Yankees season. I would allow Sarah, Newyorkbrad or any member of the Arbcom to adopt Me and watch whatever I do and keep track of My edits for at least one year after the ban is lifted. Statement by Dylan620
If Eddie promises to agree to the following restrictions/remedies, and is true to his word about what he says, then I see no reason not to assume good faith and lift his ban.
- EddieSegoura is limited to one account.
- Any administrator may ban EddieSegoura from any page he disrupts.
- EddieSegoura will be assigned a volunteer mentor who will improve his knowledge of Misplaced Pages policy to the point of further sanctions no longer being necessary.
If Eddie agrees to be true to his word and agree to the above restrictions, I would advise unblocking him, even if only as a test of good faith. --Dylan620 Hark unto me @ 03:06, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

A Message from Eddie
Being that it's been many, many months since I tried to reach out to the Arbitration committee asking if I could edit using My real Name again, I'm going to try once again to see if I can discuss it here. I also feel it's best to try and appeal to the community (i.e. the people that know Me)
I've emailed Bunchofgrapes telling Him that I'm sorry for badgering Him back in 2006. He accepted and has not edited lately. Still, there are people (and I won't name names but You know who You are) who are offended by My editing and feel I shouldn't come back here but I've been interested in returning for a while. I've talked to other editors who knew Me well, and I hope they don't mind Me writing this here.
While I can't change the past (and I do regret it), I just asking those who were offended to pardon Me and move on. This was over Me trying to recreate an article about a word that has since been deleted and the article it was supposed to point to was itself merged to yet another article. I've long since moved on.
I admit that I've tried to return as reform user under the name Voltron but despite the contributions, someone still felt it was necessary to continue pursuing Me off the site. I haven't found time recently to make any considerable contributions, but I'm still interested in returning as a constructive editor without having to worry about getting blocked simply for editing.
Therefore, I reach out to those that knew Me in hopes of trying to resolve this by discussing whether or not I can legitimately return without fearing someone is still trying to keep Me from editing. --Eddie Segoura (talk) 12:19, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
