General

  • Scotch (adjective), a largely obsolescent adjective meaning having to do with Scotland and sometimes considered incorrect unless related to food or drink; however, the people of Scotland may be referred to as "Scotch".

  • Scotch whisky, a whisky made in Scotland, commonly abbreviated as "Scotch"
