Gothic metal

Before you make sweeping changes to this or any other page that has had some discussion, please ask at the corresponding talk page. It's a good way to avoid being reverted. Also, please read over some of our policies, such as WP:CIVIL and WP:NPOV; otherwise, you might not be able to work well with the other editors. --Idont Havaname 00:27, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

No personal attacks!

I've tried to be patient with you and would like to continue working with you to make Gothic metal a better article, but you're ignoring the rules of this site. Please stop making personal attacks, as you have done in your recent edit summaries. Please also read Misplaced Pages:Ownership of articles and the other pages I mentioned in my most recent message at Talk:Gothic metal. Also note that the three-revert rule states that any editor that reverts an article more than 3 times in a 24-hour period is subject to a temporary block. --Idont Havaname 06:24, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

The edit summary I was talking about was "Reverted back because children keep changing it without reading it - Sorry i meant Dante". Also, lording your expertise over other users is somewhat of a personal attack, because you're implying that you know more than the rest of us. (You seem like you do know a lot about the subject, but it's best to go by this advice and make sure you cite everything.) --Idont Havaname 06:45, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

Stop Reverting The Gothic Metal Page!

Idont Havaname, Ray Dassen and myself have asked you a repeated number of times to cite sources. I have, yet you claim one to be discredited in books by gothic metal bands. (Allmusic.com). PROVIDE PROOF of this. You think Lacuna Coil are nu-metal band - PROVIDE PROOF. The longer this is drawn out the quicker one will assume that your edits are based on personal speculation and opinion. --Danteferno 14:02, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

Stop Reverting The Gothic Metal Page! PART II

One "book" waiting to be published (if such exists) is not a sufficient source when compared to Metal Archives, Allmusic.com, Ultimate Metal, etc, which are highly reputable in Metal music Circles. So far, the only person who seems to think otherwise is you. If an unpublished, untitled, and anonymous "book" is the best justification for your changes, then there's absolutely no question behind the reason Idont Havaname, Ray Dassen and myself have conserved the original edit vs. yours. --Danteferno 14:40, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
