Question
Can this title be brought back in the new ECW? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.247.21.121 (talk) 04:59, 27 December 2006 (UTC).
If you look on WWE.com it's history along with the ECW Tag Team Championships are on the defunct titles with the Light Heavyweight, Hardcore and European title, the most I have heard on the subject from various places, though not very realiable is that they might return around WrestleMania time or ECW One Night Stand 2007 The Legendary One 04:32, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Oldest?
As of right now (8 June '07) the oldest champ is listed as Jimmy Snuka, at 49. HOWEVER, if Terry Funk was born in 1944, and he won the belt in 1997, then he was 53 when he won the belt. Someone needs to look into that... 12.75.233.149

Unified with ECW World Heavyweight Title?
On the last PPV, Cyrus made an impromptu match after Sandman won the ECW World Heavyweight Title in the ladder match against Corino and Credible. Rhino at the time was the ECW TV Champion(the belt was stolen from the locker room a month earlier if I'm correct). Rhino won the match and Cyrus announced him as the Unified ECW World Heavyweight Champion. Now I know that the promotion's final shows were only about a week after this event, and there were plans to have another PPV within the coming months after this, but was this an official unification of the titles, and wasn't the TV title deemed deactivated after Guilty as Charged? Or, was Cyrus in kayfabe saying that Rhino was simply holding both titles? To me it sort of makes sense given the lack of the TV title belt that they'd unify it with the World Title and deactivate it. It's something that has confused me, and it's lack of mention on this page is weird as well. TonyFreakinAlmeida 14:28, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
