"PowerBook" is Apple Computer's brand name for its series of laptop computers.


The first model was the PowerBook 100, (October 1991 - August 1992) which had a clock speed of 16MHz.


In January 2001 came the first PowerBook to feature the PowerPC G4 processor, running at 500MHz and upgraded to 733 in October 2001. Its notable features include the large screen (15.2", resolution of 1152x768) and the case made of titanium.
