Gaelic games AFD's

Sorry but are you trying to prove a WP:Point , try improving the clearly notable articles instead of this time wasting AFD's Gnevin (talk) 19:39, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry but my patience is wearing thin with you . Your nom of Eoin Liston is beyond a farce , a simple google search would of shown that . Your nominations are a waste of everyone's time Gnevin (talk) 19:53, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Lack of reference is not grounds for an AFD and nominating every unreferenced Gaelic games article is defiantly WP:Pointy. I don't have time to edits these articles as a whole. I have other interest here . I would ask you too stop these silly nominations Gnevin (talk) 19:59, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Am going to a WP:TEA before I do say something I regret but which of the 3 reference on did you ignore while adding {{unreferenced}} Gnevin (talk) 20:12, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

I've gone through all the Gaelic Games articles you AfDed. Without any knowledge of the sport (not a single Iota) did you really think it was a good idea to go and AfD about 30 articles. I'd imagine you'd have just about every player AfDed if it wasn't for other wikipedians telling you to stop. I'm not critisising your original intentions, but sometimes you got to take your time and think about what you are doing.ManfromDelmonte (talk) 02:30, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Gaelic Games are entirely amateur, same as the Olympics were up until not so long ago, same as Rugby Union was until the 1990s. Please refrain from AFDing articles about sports that you seem to be poorly informed about. --Eamonnca1 (talk) 20:55, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Move warring

Can I ask you not to make any controversial page moves without first discussing it on the talk page and obtaining a consensus. What you have been doing recently is a form of edit warring and is not acceptable. Thanks — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 00:31, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Stop. These moves are all contested. Please check the edit history and see that the move you have done was already tried and reverted. After being attempted and reverted, it should be taken, to WP:RM. DoubleBlue (talk) 00:45, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Please see WT:NFL#Naming conventions.--2008Olympian 00:52, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Your edit summaries are uncivil and do not put your argument in a good position. DoubleBlue (talk) 00:59, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Lol.--2008Olympian 01:09, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
You cannot move articles via cut and paste like this. That violates the WP:GFDL. Please consult Help:Moving a page before moving any more pages and do not forget the WP:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle that shows the standard method of consensus building here. Barnstar

The Defender of the Wiki Barnstar
I normally don't give out barnstars, but you deserve one. You saw what needed to be done with the Canadian football dabs, and helped me out immensely in doing so. Thanks a lot! Tavix (talk) 04:00, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Vs. Vs

You might want to actually look at the guideline you cited. It specifically says that "vs." and "vs" are BOTH acceptable. TJ Spyke 19:12, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Please read it again. It says both "vs" and "vs." are acceptable for sports. That means there was ZERO reason for you to change them. You are violating both MOS:ABBR and WP:ENGVAR. This is bordering on disruption by you. TJ Spyke 05:46, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
I will support Spyke's interpretation of the guideline. It suggests both "vs" and "vs." are acceptable for sports, just not legal. --TreyGeek (talk) 08:43, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Quoted actual guideline language on Spyke's user page.--2008Olympian 14:21, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
I wasn't aware the others didn't use it. When I get a chance I will (I am at school right now). TJ Spyke 15:03, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
I saw that and have read it on my own. Keep in mind that there is an "or" in there. If only one of the two were allowed for sports then it would read: "v (legal), vs (sports), or vs.". We can ask on the talk page for verification if you would prefer that.--TreyGeek (talk) 15:05, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

San Antonio Spurs template

All other NBA teams have their past names in their templates, so until a consensus is reached otherwise, the Dallas Chaparrals name will stay on their template. I hope you understand, Tom Danson (talk) 20:43, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

{{resolved}}

Why did you remove all the resolved tags? Some of the sections have been discussed ,an agreement reached and the MOS changed. What else do you need to consider them resolved ? Gnevin (talk) 08:51, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Joe Son.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Joe Son.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Oursinees324 (talk) 22:15, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject Comics

Hey - it's that time again. I have to ask, out of curiousity are you still an active member of the WikiProject Comics? The list is going through a clean-up right now. -- A /contribs 16:24, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

I get you, but try clicking on User:Jester Press. Apparently that user doesn't exist. -- A /contribs 12:20, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Ah - good catch, thanks. -- A /contribs 22:01, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
