The Franco-Soviet pact was a brief alliance with french trade in order for the french to seek military support. After Germany invaded parts of Czechoslovakia, France was in need of armament from the Soviet Union in fear of a future invasion. This pact was also a reason for Germany to create hostility against the West for Eastern expansion or what Hitler liked to call it,Lebensraum.
