Marko Perković (also known as: Thompson) is the lead singer in the Croatian band Thompson. He uses the band's name as a nickname. His songs are coloured by Croatian nationalistic sentiments, whose origins are from suffering of Croatian People during the WWII and the latest war in 1991-1995 when Croatia was attacked by Serbo-Chetnik aggressor!
