Warning re:3 revert rule
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Miami Hurricanes football. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. -20:40, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
- You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Misplaced Pages's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. The duration of the block is 24 hours. Here are the reverts in question. William M. Connolley (talk) 21:05, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Request reason:
I reverted the edits because they were done without explanation; I even posted a question in the talk page seeking an explanation. The other editor in question who reported me also reverted my edits over three times and did so without even attempting to explain until I posted the question in the talk page. If I am to be blocked, he should be as well.
Decline reason:
Your request to be unblocked is declined because it does not address the reason for your block or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince administrators either (a) that the block was made in error or (b) that the block is no longer necessary because you understand what you are blocked for and you will not repeat that behavior or otherwise disrupt Misplaced Pages again and you will make productive contributions instead. Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. Toddst1 (talk) 21:58, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
