Annemarie Eilfeld (born May 2, 1990 in Wittenberg, Saxony-Anhalt) is a German singer and songwriter, best known for being a former contestant of Deutschland sucht den Superstar.

Biography

Annemarie Eilfeld was born in Wittenberg, Germany. Later the family moved to Dessau-Roßlau. At the age of seven she got an education in music and dance. Still as a child she took part in some local song competitions. In 2004, she participated in Germany’s casting show “Star Search 2” and qualified for the finals. Later that year, she released her debut single “C the light” under the pseudonym “Anne Marie”.

Between 2005 and 2008 she performed with some local bands and appeared, among the rest, in the interlude of Christina Stürmer and the Bloodhound Gang. In 2009's casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar due to the support by German tabloid Bild-Zeitung she made it to the top three despite much criticism by the jury.

Starting from June, 2009 Annemarie acts in a guest appearance in Germany’s popular soap opera “Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten”. Besides she is performing live with her band LaMie that is active since 2008.
