Jamie Doran is a British documentary filmmaker. His films have won several awards, including the Gold Special Jury Award for Afghan Massacre: Convoy of Death at Worldfest 2004, and the World Gold Medal for The Need for Speed at the New York Festivals.

Doran has directed and produced numerous documentaries, including:

Doran's claims were backed up by leading international human rights lawyer, Andrew McEntee, who reviewed evidence held by Doran and other sources, including the United Nations. Boston based NGO, Physicians for Human Rights, had earlier sent a three person fact-finding delegation to excavate part of the site . They produced a report which confirmed the existence of mass graves . The claims were also backed by a leaked United Nations memo . US President Obama announced on July 12th, 2009, that he had ordered his national security team to Investigate .

  • The Need for Speed - Alleges that The Pentagon gives performance enhancing drugs to its soldiers and airmen, and that this has resulted in the deaths of military personnel and civilians. Interviewees include former Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, General Merrill 'Tony' McPeak. The BBC also reported on this story in a 2003 article .
  • Guinea Pig Kids - Portrayed standard medical care of black and Hispanic HIV-positive children at the Incarnation Children's Center in New York as "toxic experiments" without the consent of guardians or relatives. The BBC partly upheld complaints that this documentary breached editorial guidelines on accuracy and impartiality, acknowledging that it made false claims and was biased towards the views of AIDS denialists..
  • Starman - A sixty-minute biographical film for BBC Television of Yuri Gagarin, the first human in space. Doran also co-wrote a book on Gagarin with the popular science writer, Piers Bizony .
  • The Android Prophecy - Documentary history of robots in the cinema that draws dark conclusions about the future of mankind. Featuring contributions from Arthur C Clarke, Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott.
  • Sexpionage - The story of the young women who were forced by the KGB to seduce foreign military personnel, businessmen and diplomats in order to elicit secrets from them.
