Based in the United Kingdom, Tim is the son of an Anglican minister, and attends Soul Survivor Watford Church in England where he is a worship leader. He is also helps train worship leaders and musicians as a full-time staff member for Soul Survivor.
Tim has released two albums: Here I Am to Worship (2001) and When Silence Falls (2004). His Dove Award-winning song Here I Am to Worship became a very popular worship anthem. Its popularity was helped by leading CCM artist Michael W. Smith who recorded the song for his album Worship Again a year after Hughes released his recording.
