Krembo is a type of Israeli candy. The sweet is served wrapped in thin aluminum foil, and it consists of biscuit and vanilla egg-foam on the inside and a chocolate covering. The vanilla flavor may be replaced by other less popular flavours. The word Krembo derives from the Hebrew word krem, meaning cream. It is similar to the South American candy, Alfajor.
