Cultural references
- An Italian police officer looks through a book of American criminals. One of the pages list the character Peter Griffin from Family Guy with the subtitle "Plagiarism" under the picture, and the following page after that lists Stan Smith from American Dad! as being a "plagiarism of a plagiarism."
- The Episode title is a reference to the movie The Italian Job.
