Jim Hawkins is a radio presenter for BBC Radio Shropshire. He has a program every weekday 9am-12am.

Hawkins was born in Essex and was brought up in Warwickshire. He lives in Shrewsbury. His previous work has included BBC Radio 4 and Century FM. He won the Sony Radio Academy Silver Award in 2002 in the 'Interactive' category. He was shortlisted for the 2006 Sony Radio Academy Speech Broadcaster of the Year Award.

Hawkins is a keen photographer, he also collects old 78rpm records and old radios. He plays the guitar and is a keen cyclist.
