This user no longer actively edits Misplaced Pages. There's just no point. People pedantically arguing against generally accepted terminology... people accusing you of gawd knows what just to prove a point even though "gad knows what" is nothing to do with you... those same people not being able to understand the basica concept that you didn't just offer an example to be entirely misinterpreted and twisted to mean something vcompletely different - people citing foreign language sources that don't actually say what they re supposed to, only to have a whole argment befor offering a different source that they claim does cite something, even though they could have avoided the whole thing and used it in the first place were that the case... I'm sick of the incivility, the insults, the arguing, ... I'm not built for it, and so I'm going to find a far more useful way to spend my time. If I mention something is wrong or missing from an article on a talk page, I am mentioning it as I cannot and will not fix it myself owing to being un-prepared to run the gauntlet, but I am bringing it to the attention of those that can.
I've had enough. I left, I came back, and I briefly tried again, but this place gets worse, not better.
Hi there! My name is Crimsone, I am a bit of a surrealist 26-year-old woman, and while I try my best to conduct myself in an almost professional manner on Misplaced Pages my only degree is in fact an honours from the University of Life - an issue I hope to correct one day. Just lately, after about a year since I first signed up, I've started spending more and more time on Misplaced Pages. My main wiki-interest at the moment, as it should be, is in positive contribution to articles. It's been a difficult process finding my way about here, and I'm still learning now (as I always will be), but I aim to be the best wikipedian I can possibly be. Some time ago now, I found myself trawling through policies, checking the wisdom of precedent, and seeking help to solve a problem. In this, I realised that Misplaced Pages can sometimes throw up some interesting and complex problems that aren't always resolved as quickly as might be ideal. After a wonderful person was eventually able to help me with my issue, I realised that I could make a difference by helping others here and cutting down on the workload of the admins by doing the 'dirty work' for them as much as I could (freeing their time for more worthy things). Due to this epiphany, one of my interests here is in fact doing just that inbetween my editing and learning here at Misplaced Pages. Crimsone 19:25, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
My own little projects
In some ways, I'm a fickle person. Yes, I really am. Every now and again I decide that I want to concentrate on certain areas. These are "My own little Projects™", which mostly consist of groupings of articles, potential articles, and stubs that I'd like to see created and worked on: "Kenfig, Garw, and Bridgend" project
