WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs → TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs — The name of the event and standard used for PPVs. The promotion name is only used when needed for disambiguation purposes. TJ Spyke 15:57, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

- Object: WWE lists it as WWE TLC, so technically at the moment the official name is WWE TLC.--WillC 07:33, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- WWE is very inconsistent on that. They also use it without the "WWE" part. Not to mention that the disambiguation isn't needed in this case. TJ Spyke 15:24, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, but for the sake of being accurate WWE is needed. Out of all the matches they have listed on their site, WWE is only used for WWE TLC. So at the moment, WWE TLC is the technical official title.--WillC 18:35, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

- Oppose the logo has "WWE" 76.66.194.183 (talk) 13:15, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- So does EVERY WWE pay-per-view event (go ahead, pick and PPV and you will see the WWE logo is part of the logo), so that point is moot. TJ Spyke 21:11, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Discussion
- Any additional comments:
I'm not voting as I personally don't mind if it goes either way. But I'll say that the reason why I gave it the WWE prefix when I started up the article was to help it distinguish with Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, which is more established than the event. -- Θakster 16:53, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- A simple hatnote can take care of that (which is already in place). TJ Spyke 19:15, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
Is it actually called "TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs?" in the promotional material? MPJ-DK (No Drama) Talk 05:16, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- According to both WWE and the AT&T Center, right to the punctuation. -- Θakster 14:14, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
This PPV should be interesting. Danny Boy 420 (talk) 15:54, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
I Think We Should Put Coming Soon Pictures On The WWE Ppv's that doesn't have a promotional poster yet I can make one if you like my idea iCEMAN 247 —Preceding undated comment added 04:34, 17 October 2009 (UTC).
- So is there any objection to moving it? TJ Spyke 22:15, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
