Hot Spring Fever

I don't think it's the name of the hot spring Raj and Samson went in. That's just the name of the episode. Squirepants101 20:25, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

your contributions

Hello Jpark3909.

Please stop adding arbitrary content to WP:FA and Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/requests. Indeed, these pages are used for listing Featured articles only, not any other articles. If you can think an article can be promoted to featured, please submit it for review. Thanks, Grafikm 01:08, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Again, please ensure that articles you add to Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/requests are actually featured. Thanks. -- Steel 21:18, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Zombies in gaming

Thanks for your attempts at cutting the page back, but the content you're deleting from the Zombie page also includes board and card games, which aren't covered by the "Zombies in computer and video games" link. --McGeddon 09:35, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Samson J. Clogmeyer

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Misplaced Pages! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, welcome, and I hope that you will like Misplaced Pages. Squirepants101 14:35, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

One Krab's Trash

Is it really necessary to use the word "fuck" in an article geared for children? Please use a better word, and familiarize yourself with

Gangster

I reverted your recent addition, as it did not seem to belong there. If you can explain why you added it, I might understand better. --ArmadilloFromHell 05:31, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Zombie (Doom 3)

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Zombie (Doom 3), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Misplaced Pages:What Misplaced Pages is not and Misplaced Pages:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Misplaced Pages or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:Zombie (Doom 3). If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~ BigrTex 16:21, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

The Fairly OddParents

Your edits to The Fairly OddParents have been reverted.

The series is not over yet, there have been many online petitions to save the show (including my own), the ratings are high, and Butch Hartman has announced the production of new episodes for FOP. Marcus2 14:48, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Requesting Bans

I noticed on MartinBot's page you had asked about this. Since MartinBot is just a bot, I'll fill you in. To request a ban, see Misplaced Pages:Administrator intervention against vandalism and use one of the following in the User-Reported section (don't use a ==header==), whichever would apply:

{{IPvandal|IP address here}} for IP vandalism.

{{Vandal|Username here}} for registered users.

Just to show, that vandal one, for instance, would appear as Username here (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)

Once one of those is there and the user's IP or username is filled in, give a brief description of what's going on and sign your request. (~~~~)

As it says there, "Make sure the person is active now, has received a proper set of warnings, and has vandalized after a recent last warning, except in unusual circumstances". Have a nice day--anything else, post it on my talk. C. Foultz 16:54, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Inaccuracies in eBay

Hi. I've reverted your edit to eBay in which you state "Cho Seung Hui, the perpetrator of the Virginia Tech massacre purchased a Walther P22 from eBay". This is simply untrue, as the source you cite makes clear; eBay years ago banned the sale of weapons and ammo -- what Cho bought on eBay were empty clips (the sale of which have since been banned). --jpgordon 00:51, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Doraemon (1979 anime)

A tag has been placed on Doraemon (1979 anime), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Plrk (talk) 13:11, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

P.S. I deleted this as it was unintelligible, but seemed to refer to the subject of an existing article-- Doraemon. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 13:51, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Blocked
You have been blocked for vandalism for 1 week. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page, replacing your reason here with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

If you continue to vandalize Misplaced Pages after the block has expired, you will be blocked for longer and longer periods of time.  Infrogmation (talk) 15:16, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

{{unblock|Hello. I recently checked my contributions and the last edit I made seem to be unfamiliar. I believe my account has been hacked because to be honest, I have never made any edits to Atlantic Records. I'm not sure how this happened, but I believe my account has been hacked.}}

{{unblock|Actually I request that my account gets blocked indefinitely once the current block expires. I'll be starting to make a new account with a stronger password.}} In that case it is likely that unless you have a way of confirming your identity, your account will probably be blocked indefinitely per WP:GOTHACKED. Thank you for letting us know about it. (Retracting my comment, mostly based on Luna's comment, although I do think the possible compromise is troubling. Templarion (talk) 06:27, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Let's not be ridiculous. An otherwise perfectly helpful editor, active since 2006, makes one iffy edit which is reverted within seconds, and we show them the door without any warning? I see no reason why this account should be blocked at all, much less indefinitely. – Luna Santin (talk) 08:30, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
  • I have no objection to removing the block as the generally good user has requested it, but I have not unblocked as there seems to be a problem with the account being compromised? I will be off line for a some hours; in the meanwhile if Luna Santin or another admin can figure this out they have my support to do what they think appropriate. -- Infrogmation (talk) 14:11, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
  • I'm going to simply lift the block. Jpark: You almost certainly have not lost control of your password, but changing your password might be prudent just in case. (If you can still log in you haven't really lost control.) Chances are high that you simply left yourself logged in somewhere and someone vandalized Misplaced Pages under your login. I figure, on the off chance I'm wrong, you can be swiftly re-blocked if it becomes apparent a vandal is still using your account. But Luna's right.. after a long positive history, a flat-out block of a week for one inappropriate edit is a bit much in the first place. Mangojuice 17:10, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
    • Okay, looks like you didn't log out somewhere or some similar problem. Changing your password would be a good idea if you haven't already done so, and probably will take care of any potential additional problem. To be cautious, it might be a good idea to check your own user contributions for the next couple days to make sure they're all edits you've made; notify an admin if a problem persists. Cheers, -- Infrogmation (talk) 21:33, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Haeundae (film)

I never said it was vandalism, only that the text you added didn't make any sense. What does "having a job" have to do with him breaking into tears over his mother's death? PC78 (talk) 13:58, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

No worries; "rv" usually means revert, while "rvv" mean revert vandalism. I can't really help you with Running Turtle because I haven't seen the film. PC78 (talk) 16:15, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Running Turtle

Hello, you sent me a request in needing help on Running Turtle. I haven't seen it, but I am good with research so how may I help? Colleen16 04:05, 13 November 2009 (UTC) I would think so, yes. Colleen16 (talk) 04:26, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
