Due to my many other commitments, I don't edit as much as I used to, though I frequently attend to matters behind the scenes. I remain very active as a checkuser. If you need me for something, your best bet is to try to catch me on IRC. You might want to check my log as well as my edits if you're interested in my activity, since sometimes I make logged actions without editing.

I would put that "undo any of my admin actions without consulting me" box on my page but given the fact that a lot of my admin actions are related to checkuser usage and generally shouldn't be undone without my explicit permission, I've not got it up there. So if you're feeling brave...

I also have over 9000 edits. People who are unable to appreciate the meaning of the previous sentence make me chuckle.

Arbitration Committee

During 2008, I was a member of the Arbitration Committee. I resigned at the end of 2008 due to illness preventing me from fulfulling my responsibilities.

I served as the mailing list co-ordinator from January 2009 until late March 2009, a new position was which designed to help the Committee manage their incoming mail. I served until the position was superceded by a new mail handling procedure.

I retain the CheckUser and Oversight rights that I was given before my election to the Committee.

Me in real life

My name is Daniel Garry and I'm studying for a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. I hope to go on and do a postgraduate degree after that, but I should wait until I've finished my undergraduate one first. I was born and raised in England, but my ancestry is Irish. I can't think of anything interesting to put here.

I play Warcraft. Too much. I think I worked out my cumulative level across all my characters to be around 800. And I have a life too. Crazy.
