  • Object. The photo suitably falls into the category of fair-use photo. Sir Noel was widely remembered as Chief Justice of Hong Kong. A photo of him dressing in judicial robe greatly helps reader identify him as a judge. • No evidence the author of this image died more than 50 years ago (what would be 1 year after taking this doomed photo). The original copyright holder has not been tracked down. The image was just downloaded from a website that uses many images from many sources without attributing them, although stating that these images "are obtained from several image providers who are free on the Internet for nonprofit educational projects" (translation by google).
