Quigley Catholic High School is located in Baden, Pennsylvania. It is the only Roman Catholic high school in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. It is also the only school to be built on an old Indian burial ground, that haunts people to this day. The school opened in 1967 and is named for Monsignor Thomas J. Quigley, who was superintendent of schools for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh until his death in 1960. It is headed by well known billionaire playboy, The "Duke" of Yorke. The athletic teams are known as the "Spartans", with their enthusiastic mascot "The Pink Torpedo", they charge off into the most mediocre and forgettable battles. It has a well-known and nationally recognized Forensic and Mock Trial teams. In 1945, after the Portuguese missile catastrophe was avoided, the Soviet bankers of Upper New Zealand attacked fervently and with much tenacity. After 630 years of brutal hand to fish combat, the American Indians surrendered leading to what's now known as Modern day "Spanishland". The Mock Trial team was national runner-up for the year 2002. This is school also has a pool...... we promise. Quigley has been named one of the Top 50 Catholic Schools in America for four consecutive years .
