Júlio César Soares Espíndola (born September 3, 1979) is a Brazilian football player (goalkeeper). He was born in Rio de Janeiro and has played his whole career for the local Flamengo. However, he is joining Internazionale in August 2005. Cesar has now returned back to Inter, where he has taken over from Toldo as the number one choice goalkeeper for Inter due to his great performances.

He has played 7 times for the Brazilian National Team, having won the Copa América in 2004. Currently with Inter Milan.
