Football (soccer)

Hi,

I noticed you were new and had been editing football articles, so I thought I'd give you a few links that it took me a while to find. Hope they're useful.

Scottish football

Hello Forbsey, thanks for your kind welcome before Christmas which I have finally got around to replying to! As you can see I've been busying away on various Scottish football articles in the last couple of months, you can probably guess from those I've worked on that Dundee UNited are my team, although I have been gradually expanding my edits into other areas as well. In the last few days I've been polishing up some of the SPL squad lists a bit, do you think it would be a good idea to try to expand the squad coverage to include the SFL clubs as well? Looking around Misplaced Pages, I've noticed this kind of information is sparse even for lower league clubs in England. Jellyman 10:32, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Hey. The SFL clubs cretainly lack detailed information but I don't think we should create squad lists for them, apart from maybe some of the bigger SFL clubs such as St Mirren, Partick, Dundee ect.. as it would be difficult to maintain. Maybe we should look at including more information on the club history's of some of the teams. Also some of the SPL teams' pages are far too short, i.e. Kilmarnock and Dunfermline espeically when you consider that they are among the oldest clubs in Scotland. Good work on the squad lists btw.
