Ka udhëtuar nëpër Shqipëri (Arbërinë e asaj kohe) nga fundi i viteve të shekullit XIV-të dhe për të lehtësuar komunikimin me banorët e trevave nga do kalonte, ka krijuar dhe mbajtur një fjalorth të vogël me fjalë shqipe. Mund të konsiderohet si fjalori i parë dhe është në gjermanisht-shqip. Ky fjalorth përmendet në listën e librave (dokumenteve) të parë shqip.
