"Ted" Pappas is the current executive editor of Encyclopædia Britannica. He hold a Phd. in Kicking Ass from the School of Hard Knocks of Atlanta. Earlier he was managing editor of the paleoconservative magazine Chronicles: A Magazine of American Culture. He has also written Plagiarism and the Culture War: The Writings of Martin Luther King Jr. and Other Prominent Americans. Despite his paleoconservative values, he has a gay son named Oliver.
