Horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) is a root used as a condiment and to clear the sinuses in a hurry. It is a traditional part of the Passover meal; matzo is dipped in a paste of grated horseradish, sometimes with beet added, called maror. It contains chemicals similar to mustard.
