Re: GA push

I'm somewhat iffy. I think the development section is going to have to be partially rewritten to deal with possible unreliable refs, and I'm still not happy with the reception, but I suppose it could make GA. I've got final crunching the next month or so so I won't really be able to put in the hours needed on the article until after the first week of May. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs 00:24, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Go ahead. I'll be working on it when I can. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs 12:32, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
Whatever floats your boat. With recent FAs I've done (Halo Wars, Halo 3: ODST) I've pretty much started it off with the average rankings and than critic's overall rankings of the game before drilling down to the constituent parts. What comes before what doesn't matter to me. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs 03:51, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Haha, where exactly do you think I live? :P Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs 02:52, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Nope, I'm Stateside :P Generally I haven't been impressed by the quality of foreign FAs, but I can have some of my French-speaking friends look it over. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs 17:42, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

Half-Life 2 FAR

Hi GamerPro64 - Would you please return to the FAR for Half-Life 2 and give more details on your concerns? There is an editor willing to work on the article, but none of the commenting editors appear interested in giving more than a one line general comment accompanied by a "delist". It would be great if you could detail your concerns so that the editor who is working on the article will have some specific comments to start with. Thanks in advance, Dana boomer (talk) 01:40, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

GamerPro, the editor is still willing to work on the article (see my talk page) so it would be great if you could list your concerns ASAP. Also, please note that FA criteria does not require that every single sentence (or even paragraph) has to have a citation, just information that is potentially controversial, direct quotes, statistics, etc. Just because a paragraph or sentences doesn't have a citation doesn't automatically mean it needs one. This is something that delegates have had to point out on several recent FARs, so I'm just trying to remind everyone of this. Dana boomer (talk) 20:00, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
Can you please take a look at the HL2 article? I've been fixing it and finished your issues and addressing Vaypertrail's issues. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 21:32, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

OpenBSD

Hi GamerPro - Could you please revisit your oppose at Misplaced Pages:Featured article review/OpenBSD/archive1? The main editor working on the article has responded to your comments. Dana boomer (talk) 21:19, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

I hereby present to you...

The VG Barnstar
For your invaluable work in bringing Beyond Good & Evil (video game) to Good article status, I hereby award you the Video Game barnstar.

Hey there

I posted the interview answers on the draft page. I'll make some tweaks here and there. — Deckiller 18:30, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Template:Good article

The template is supposed to go at the bottom of articles, just like {{Featured article}}. This is because most people don't know what the template does, and it certainly is not easy to determine what it does if you don't already know since it changes an image in the corner of the page rather than inline with the text, so a lot of users remove the template. Re:BG&E

I'd like to make this my next focus of attention seeing as time is running out, but unfortunately I won't be able to get to the internet reliably over the next week. Really, I think that expanding the development and reception sections and maybe organizing them more logically, combined with a copyedit, is what the article needs. re Me again

I did all of the steps to remove the featured portal status for Portal:Mars, except removal from Portal:Featured content/Portals. Perhaps you could do that last step for me? Thank you for your time, -- Cirt (talk) 21:07, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

This is not enough, could you please update all the numbering prior to and post "121" on that page? Thanks so much, -- Cirt (talk) 21:16, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Thank you !!! -- Cirt (talk) 21:30, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Remember to delete on good article page

Tagging a project as semi-active with no discussion?

Curious why you tagged WP:SCN with "semi-active", with no prior discussion about that? Have you looked at any of the activity levels of the sub-project pages? (Some of them are automated, but still quite helpful.) Cheers, -- Cirt (talk) 14:36, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Okay thanks, no worries. Cheers, -- Cirt (talk) 14:53, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Re: Activeness

Well, I am a bit busy these days, so I would be logging in to do some stuff some time. Do you wish to discuss anything? Jappalang (talk) 05:05, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

No, feel free to delist it. As I previously stated in Freelancer's GAR, I no longer have the interest to defend that article (Ninja Gaiden) alone against tendentious editors and have taken it off my watchlist. I would advise first asking at any Wikiproject the article is associated with if anyone is willing to take up that baton (to help keep the article to GA standards) before delisting it though. Good luck. Jappalang (talk) 04:42, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
