Christian Mark Cecil Purslow is the managing director of Liverpool Football Club. He was appointed in June 2009 as a replacement for Rick Parry.

After graduating in Modern and Medieval Languages at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, he earned an MBA at Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. Prior to his appointment at Liverpool he founded MidOcean Partners, a private equity firm.

In September 2009, he agreed a £80million sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered Bank.
