Full Tilt Poker is an online poker site and software client. It was created by a team of poker professionals, among them Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson. Full Tilt Poker launched in June 2004, and has been growing quickly ever since. Because the site is dedicated to serious poker playing, and has real poker pros playing and interacting with everyday users, it has gained a reputation for being a high-end site. Full Tilt Poker has concentrated its efforts on quality rather than quantity of players, and as such has attracted a loyal audience. The Full Tilt "Tips from the Pros" regular newsletters are regarded as the best, most informative and useful communication of their kind from a poker room.

Tournaments and Poker Games

Full Tilt Poker's games include:

- Texas Hold 'Em - Omaha - Omaha 8 (Hi/Lo) - Razz (not offered by many poker sites) - Seven Card Stud - Seven Card 8/Better

Regular tournaments happen on a constant basis, and may include one of the Team Full Tilt pros. Freeroll tournaments are common, and sit'n'gos are offered for one and two tables.

Team Full Tilt

"Team Full Tilt", the pro players who play regularly on the site, consist of Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Jennifer Harman, Phil Gordon, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Clonie Gowen, Andy Bloch, and Mike Matusow.

Mac Platform Software

Full Tilt is the second poker site to release a version of their software for the Mac platform Since release in January, 2006, the software has received thousands of downloads from Mac platform players who had previously had to settle for poor Java interfaces or VirtualPC workarounds. The Mac software offers the same advantages as the PC software, in which players interact with other users, as well as the pros, on the same servers the PC users are on.
