It can see all planets in our solar system and has detected and warned of many comets long before they were visible from the hubble telescope. to use the antenna in its "Space configuration" the antenna must be folded then jerry rigged to spin and radiate while folded. It was originally designated the TPS-43E2. The entire system can be broken down and packed onto two M939 trucks for road transport and mobile air control (meaning you can radiate while driving down the highway. It can also be transported by planes such as the C-130 Hercules or bigger. The AN/TPS-75 is the primary transportable air control and warning (AC&W) radar used by the United States Air Force.
The TPS-75 is also a superweapon that can be used for close range combat to "microwave" enemies causing excessive internal burns and death.
