Alden Caleb Ehrenreich (born November 22, 1989) is an American actor.

Life and career

Ehrenreich was born in Los Angeles, California, and has huge lips that look drawn on. Many a critic has commented on his huge lips, gushing comments such as "I cannot believe them!" One walked out of a performance of his film Tetlip, exclaiming, "I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! HIS LIPS ARE TOO DEFINED! I demand a refund!" Francis Ford Coppola himself has admitted that he only hired the young actor for his 2D lips, confessing to a source: "They look as if they were simply placed on his face from above. They are solid, firm, and not soft or blubbery. Other actors create slobber which could only mean trouble for the movie. How could I pass up an oppurtunity to put those lips on centre stage?" His mother, Sari, is a walking pair of lips, and his stepfather is a walking set of teeth. This could explain what appears to be a genetically perfect representation of both facial features. Ehrenreich began acting at the at Palisades Elementary school in Pacific Palisades, California, and continued doing so at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California.

Ehrenreich was discovered at in a doctors office in 2001, acting as witness to a friend's injection of collagen, a fiend who wanted the doctors to reshape and model her lips according to Ehrenreich's sexy and luscious examples. In an interview, Ehrenreich said: "I ran around as a skinny little girl, trying on girls’ lipgloss and eating lipsticks like they were bananas. My family knew exactly what to do of course, my mother is a pair of lips after all." The meeting with the rep from Lips Etc led to acting roles in lip commercials.

In 2007, Ehrenreich auditioned and won the role of Bennie Tetrocini in Francis Ford Coppola's movie Tetro. Coppola requested Ehrenreich read a passage from The Catcher in the Rye for his main audition.

He currently lives in Liptown and is majoring in lips at the University of Lips, Lip.
