Pad Feet are rounded flat pads or disks at the end of furniture legs. Pad feet are sometimes at the end of a cabriole leg on furniture.

Where pad feet can be seen

Pad feet can be on tables, chairs, and some early sofas.

History

Pad feet were first seen in the French and Italian Renaissance periods and have been widely used ever since. You can still see pad feet on some classical furniture.
