He is the current editor in chief of U.S. News & World Report and the publisher/owner of the New York Daily News.
Zuckerman is on the Board of Trustees at NYU. Currently he is involved in the attempt to bust the Graduate Assistant Union there, the Graduate Student Organizing Committee. Zuckerman's New York Daily News ran an editorial opposing the union in late 2005 without reporting that the owner of the paper was on the University's Board of Trustees and had an obvious conflict of interest with any notion of objective reporting.
In addition to his publishing and real-estate interests, Zuckerman is also a sought-after commentator on world affairs and an active supporter of American and international Jewish causes. He occasionally appears on The McLaughlin Group and writes columns for U.S. News and the Daily News.
