Request reason:
I have hardly caused a problem :( I did announce that I would move the pages so this block is really rather unreasonable!! Louis Philippe Charles (talk) 19:00, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You agreed to an editing restriction due to the bad page moves you have made in the past. You willfully violated that restriction, and caused yet another mess in the process. You should probably not move pages at all in the future, instead suggesting new titles on talk pages and leaving it to others to decide. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:55, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Where did you announce that that you were moving Countess Amalie Elisabeth of Hanau-Münzenberg? There is no announcement on Talk:Countess Amalie Elisabeth of Hanau-Münzenberg.
Your announcement on Talk:Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, Queen of Prussia was less than 2 hours before you moved the page, not the minimum limit I placed on you of 24 hours "In future if you want to make a page move that you think is uncontroversial you must announce you intent to move a page on the talk page of the article 24 hours before you make the move" (see here). -- PBS (talk) 19:25, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- Fine, fine, fine. I will work using this page till then Louis Philippe Charles (talk) 19:34, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- I have just realised that these pages which I moved in good faith, regardless of time constraints, are in no way unproductive, unreliable or disruptive. No one has contested these moves or disagreed with them in any way which, again, support that were not done with any intent to offend, disrupt or to make myself look any more of a drama queen. I just wanted to say that in my own defence. Thank you Louis Philippe Charles (talk) 19:56, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- I had assumed that your always made moves in good faith. Are you saying that you also move pages in bad faith?
- The reasons why I placed the time constraint on you is documented and it is because in the past you have shown that your judgement on moving pages has been less than other editors expect. The mess that you made of moving Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Bevern shows that you are still causing problems. As I said before the double move within a minuted and the fixing of the double redirect on Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Bevern meant that an ordinary editor who objected to your bold move could no longer move the page back to Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Bevern without administrator intervention (I have since fixed that problem). Whether that was intentional or not it means that someone has to clean up after you. If you had made the suggestion, waited 24 hours the chances are that you would not have made the double move that you did. (See my comment when I blocked you this time about how you should have reversed out your first mistaken move and then moved the page again). -- PBS (talk) 21:37, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- Noooooo, not in bad faith! As in I just did not think before I acted. I did clean up the links for the redirects myself though .. Louis Philippe Charles (talk) 21:55, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
